Why map your catchment areas?

What’s the point of drawing this area? First of all, note that it is of great importance — even essential — for finding the right location for a new site. This mapping allows you to visualize the reach of your sales outlet over a defined geographical area and target audience. It will also give you an indication (thanks in particular to the IRIS code) of whether it is relevant or not to establish yourself in that area.
In addition, the following will be visible: 
  •  The location of the sales outlet in relation to competitors;
  • The time it takes your customers to reach the point of sale;
  • And the distance connecting your location to your customers.

The mapping feature available on Cerca, formerly Franchise On Cloud

No one will be left out with our latest feature. It will make both your development team and your network managers happy: your territorial exclusivity zones are now available on your platform in the form of a map.

You can draw your zones directly on the map (and simultaneously view the list of zones in list form), or import the list of municipalities, IRIS codes, departments, or districts into the location file to automatically generate the corresponding map.

A search engine also allows you to instantly check whether a client’s address falls within a franchisee’s zone or not.
Several different colors naturally make it easy to distinguish between adjacent exclusivity zones.

Developers, on their side, can use the same mapping tool to display both the already granted territorial exclusivity zones and the predefined available zones. They can also draw a map live with the candidate.
Naturally, these maps are visible only to head office staff.
